At Frankfort Animal Clinic, we’re always looking for ways to give back to a community that has given us so much. That’s why we’re beyond proud to be partnering with Bluegrass Care Navigators by sponsoring two of the organization’s Animal Assisted Therapy puppies.

Once they’re fully trained, the puppies – Sampson and Rosemary – will play an important role in Bluegrass Care Navigators’ mission of providing compassionate and personalized hospice care to the greater Frankfort area.

Animal-assisted therapy is a relatively new field that is already proven to have positive results, especially when it is combined with other forms of outreach and alternative medicine. Proponents say that patients who develop a bond with an animal enjoy a wide variety of benefits, including improved self-worth, greater control of their emotions, and an enhanced ability to communicate their needs.

Our role in this partnership is simple: we’ve pledged to provide Sampson and Rosemary with free preventative care as well as 20% discounts on other services over the course of their lifetimes. The goal is simple as well. We want to give Sampson and Rosemary years of good health and happiness so that they might pass that health and happiness onto others.
