Have you met Vickey? She’s our wonderful new groomer, and she’s been working for us for the last few months. We wanted to officially introduce her and tell you a little about her.

Vickey Rhodus comes to Frankfort Animal Clinic with considerable experience, incredible attention to detail and a wonderful way with pets.

She was born and raised in Lexington, and in 1989, she graduated from Nash Academy of Animal Arts, where she trained with John and Vivian Nash, the owners of the school. She has been grooming pets for 32 years and has loved every minute of it. She owned her own salon in Paris, KY, called Fur Babies, and she has a son who lives in Malowi, Africa.

“I love doing scissor trims, and I love the challenge in every day,” says Vickey. “I never dread coming to work!”
